While "daddy" was over at uncle Tom's place (still weird to say that) watching college football yesterday, Auntie Megan was nice enough to take some pictures of Maddie while she was sleeping. Thanks Megan!

3.5 weeks and still growing...

Maddie is now 3.5 weeks old. Every day has been a new adventure, as she continues to grow and become more interactive. This past 10 days she has really been awake and alert more often, which has been very fun for Rose and I. She also like to "do a number 2" in a projectile style while one of us is in the middle of changing her diaper. More to come soon!!

Week 2 - More Exciting Pictures

Madeleine is 2 weeks old now!  I haven't blogged for a full week, so apologies to all those who have missed my updates (which is probably just my parents and Rose's).  Maddie has continued to grow in leaps and bounds over this past week.  She had her first bath, which was quite the experience, and continues to eat a lot.  She has been sleeping up to 4 hours at a time in the evenings, and her Mom has been getting up to feed her.  So far she has been a very good baby, and does not cry unless the following have occurred:  She is hungry, She pooped, She wants to be held, she has diaper rash, She is given a bath.

Well - the above might be too much info for some, but what the heck, it is my blog!!!

More Pics.

Madeleine is now 1 week old!  Here are some more pictures during the past week.  She is still slightly under 5 lbs, but continuing to eat quite a bit.  She has also begun to sleep much better at night, as she has slept between 4-5 hours at a time the past two evenings.  Overall, she remains a very healthy and happy baby :)

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the blog devoted to the newest addition to the family, Madeleine Rose Norman!  

Maddie was born on July 30, 2008 at 8:38pm and weight 5 lbs and 7 ounces.  Rose and I hope to add photos and videos for friends and family to view and comment on.

Please note:  This is my first Blog ever, and I am not good at blogging.  However, I have always like the word 'blog".

P.S.  Thanks to everyone for all of your support before and after Madeleine's birth.  Rose and I couldn't ask for better and more generous family/friends/co-workers.
